She also worked as an elementary school bus driver in Groveland. Mrs. Fausette was a founding member of Buck Meadows Community Church, which her family built.
    Mrs. Fausette was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil R. Fausette Sr., in 1987; son, Bill John Nagy, in 1987; and brothers, David O. Hallowell and Bill R. Hallowell.
    She is survived by her children, Cecil Fausette Jr., of Merced, and Lona J. Eckles, of Groveland; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ring, of Cloverdale, Amber Lloyd, of Groveland, Terra Klein, of Groveland, Jessica Holden, of Groveland, Daniel Fausette, of Oregon, Gabe Fausette, of Oregon, and Renee Fausette, of Merced; and 18 great-grandchildren.

    A native of Missouri, Mrs. Hallowell had lived in Modesto seven years. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of American in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and the Rebekkas of Coulterville, Mariposa County.
    She and her husband, Roy W Hallowell, formerly owned Buck Meadows, Tuolumne County [sic, SB Mariposa Co.] and she was a founder of the Community Church there. She was also a past chairman of the Navy Mothers Club of Tulsa.

    Pine Mountain Lake resident Marie Humphreys died Feb. 15 in Groveland. She was 74. Mrs. Humphreys was born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska, to Oscar Alf Nelson and Alexandria (Gregoroff) Nelson. She was the youngest of eight children.
    She met Bill Humphreys in 1956, and they married in 1957 in Mountain View. They resided in Sunnyvale until Mr. Humphreys retired in 1991. Then they built a home in Pine Mountain Lake and moved to the area.
    Mrs. Humphreys was a fan of the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants and tennis. She was a member of the Sunnyvale Tennis Club for nearly two decades and continued playing late into her 60s. She enjoyed reading and entertaining at home, but especially enjoyed frequent excursions with her girlfriends hiking, golfing, going to Broadway musicals and shopping.
    Mrs. Humphreys was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Don, Jack, Archie and Sammy; and sisters, Alma and Isabel.
    She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Bill Humphreys, of Pine Mountain Lake; son, David Humphreys and daughter-in-law Kimberly, of Cameron Park; daughter, Patricia Humphreys, of San Jose; grandchildren, Christine and Scott Humphreys, of California; two great-grandsons; sister, Jean Zampa, of Mountain View; and many nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. March 16 at Evangelical Free Church of Groveland, 19172 Ferretti Road. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of the Sierra, 20100 Cedar Road North, Sonora, CA 95370, or to the Evangelical Free Church, 19172 Ferretti Road, Groveland, CA 95321. Terzich and Wilson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
