Funeral services for Helen Cheryl Latch, 60, of Corinth, are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.

Ms. Latch died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born Feb. 1, 1950. She worked for ITT, Magnolia Regional Health Center and Southern Pipe and Supply. She attended the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Clyde Jones and Margaret Tenneyson Jones, and her paternal grandparents, Lola Mosley and Robert Jasper Mosley.

Survivors include her mother, Margaret Elizabeth Jones Mosley of Corinth; her father Grover Cleve Mosley (Peggy) of California; one son, Chris Latch (Jennifer) of Corinth; one daughter, Angela Morgan (Todd) of Little Rock, Ark; grandchildren Madeline Morgan, Hayden Latch and Lindley Latch; half-brothers Bobby Mosley and Kenny Mosley of California; and the father of her children, Jerry Latch.

The Rev. Eddie Lawton and the Rev. Gary Porterfield will officiate.

Visitation is Wednesday from 1 p.m. until service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., or to the Alcorn County Humane Society.

    Pine Mountain Lake resident Grover Cleve Mosley died Aug. 12 at Kaiser Permanente-Modesto Medical Center after a long illness. He was 86.
    Mr. Mosley was born in Columbia, Tenn., to Jasper and Nola Mosley.
    Mr. Mosley served on a destroyer in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946.
    He learned floral design from a friend’s mother at a young age and moved to Memphis to work for United Wholesale Florists. There, he met his future wife, Peggy Simmons. He and his wife moved to Norton Air Force Base in San Bernardino in 1959 due to her service in the Air Force.
    Mr. Mosley managed the tire department at Sears stores for 20 years. He later worked as a procurement specialist for the research and development department of Lockheed Martin Space Systems in Sunnyvale, beginning in 1979.
    He retired from Lockheed in 1992, after he and his wife purchased the Groveland Hotel in 1990 and worked to restore the buildings. He was innkeeper until 2012. He enjoyed golfing and floral design.
    Mr. Mosely was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Horace Mosley, in 2002, and Katherine (Mosley) Copeland, in 2011; daughter, Helen Cheryl Latch, in 2011; and grandson, Dino Mosley, in May.
    He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Peggy Mosley, of Pine Mountain Lake; his children and their spouses, Robert W. and Stephanie Mosley, of Campbell, Kenneth B. and Patty Mosley, of Copperopolis, and Howard J. and Jan Mosley, of Pope Valley; grandchildren, Joey Mosley, of Simi Valley, Randall Mosley, of Pope Valley, Steven Mosley, of Campbell, Kyle Mosley, of Campbell, Chris Latch and wife Jennifer, of Corinth, Miss., and Angela Morgan and husband, Todd, of Little Rock, Ark.; and three great-grandchildren.
