     Patrick Coyle was born circa 1834 at Ireland; Is this the same Patrick who was enumerated in 1870 as age 28, suggesting a birthdate of 1842?3 He was born circa 1842 at Ireland; In 1870 Patrick Coyle is enumerated as 28 years old, giving him a birth date circa 1842. In 1860, he is listed as 26 years old, suggesting a birth date of 1836. Which is correct? Are they the same men?1 He was the son of Charles Coyle and Mrs. Ann Coyle.2 Patrick Coyle died after 1870; Guesstimate.
     He was naturalized between 1865 and 1870; If he is indeed the Patrick Coyle who served in the US Army during the Civil War, then Patrick could have received his citizenship based on his military service. Note that the Patrick Coyle of the 1870 Census, presumed son of Charles and Ann on Staten Island, became a US citizen between the 1860 and 1870 census'.
