Added by Denise Henderson on Oct 26, 2010 7:40 PM. I looked through the records for the Divide Cemetery and then went to the actual cemetery to the plot where her husband Budd C. Eaton is buried, but there was no sign of Nellie. My fellow Oak Grove Cemetery District Trustee, Peggy Andrews, went to the Tuolumne County Recorders Office today and learned that Nellie was cremated and her ashes were scattered in Dodge Meadow. Nellie isn't buried next to her husband at the Divide and doesn't have a headstone or other memorial at the Divide Cemetery in Big Oak Flat.³
     Nellie (Douglas) Lebow Eaton was also known as Nellie Isabel Douglas.¹ She appeared on the census of 1900. She appeared on the census of 1910. As of 2 April 1913,her married name was Nellie (Douglas) Lebow.¹ She appeared on the census of 1920.
