George Sprague, 76, of Modesto died Saturday at Hillhaven Convalescent Hospital.
Mr. Sprague was a native of Topeka, Kan. He lived in the Modesto area 50 years. He was a production employee for American Can Company.
He is survived by his children, Ken Sprague of Groveland and Jim Sprague, Pat Sprague and Charlotte Morrow, all of Modesto; stepchildren, Harry Lee Harris of Modesto and Ruth Edwards of Oroville; brother, Robert Sprague of Modesto; sisters, Mildred Manka of Modesto and Virginia Lyle of Turlock; and 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lakewood Memorial Park, Hughson. Lakewood Funeral Home, Hughson, in charge of arrangements. [5]
