Groveland resident Patricia (Parkos) Hall died Jan. 3 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. She was 57.
Mrs. Hall was born in Merced, the daughter of Laura Helen (Jensen) and John Dale Parkos.
She was a homemaker and settled in Groveland six years ago. She enjoyed sewing and antiquing.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her children, Lili Powell, of Groveland, Kara Izzo, of Anchorage, Alaska, and Emalee McCoy, of Jamestown; her siblings, John Parkos, of Florida, Chantil Davis and Kathleen Miles, both of Valdosta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Joshua Baker, of Anchorage, and Addison McCoy and Avery McCoy, both of Columbia.
A funeral was planned for noon today at Heuton Memorial Chapel, 400 S. Stewart St., Sonora.

John Jay Winkler Jr., 52, of Groveland, passed away on Feb. 26 in Modesto.
Born on May 7, 1961 in Fontana, John was a masonry artisan and the owner of Winkler Masonry. He served in the U.S. Army from 1979 to 1983, and won awards for the “MacGyver-like” skills that he was well known for. John’s great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
John had many interests, among those, hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, tinkering with all things mechanical, his weekly Bible study, and most of all being surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife his parents and his brother.
He is survived by his wife, Regina M. Winkler; and his seven children and stepchildren, John J. Winkler III, Clint Christensen, Sheena A. Winkler, Christen A. Sanchez, Melissa S. Mecredy, Michelle T. Mecredy, Sara J. Mecredy; his 13 beloved grandchildren; his brother, David W. Winkler; cousin, Samuel J. Winkler; his uncle, Jay Gaskill and family; and all his good friends and their loving families.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held noon Saturday at The First Baptist Church on Wards Ferry Road, in Big Oak Flat.
Eaton Family Funeral Home handled the arrangements.

Retired from Memorex/Unisys Corporation. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends fishing and camping at New Melones and Don Pedro Lakes, golfing at Pine Mountain Lake and Twain Harte golf courses, dancing, playing bingo and bowling at Sonora Bowl.
She was preceded in death by Harry Huff Sr.
She is survived by children, Frank Tobias, of Toone, Tenn., Peg Geringer, of San Jose, Sandy (Ken) Steele, of Sonora, Chuck (Mary) Huff, of Brentwood, and Harry (Candi) Huff, of Jamestown.
Mary always had a smile on her face and was greatly loved by 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Chapel of the Roses in San Jose.
