This has to be one of "Amy" son's. He is listed as Lee Mecartea on the 1900 census with a birth of Feb 1888 in California, now in that census show's his father being born in California.. don't know if he was talking about his natural father or Walter. Also Volney is "Amy's" grandfather's first name. I'll attach a copy of the draft card.
