Postlethwaite and Louisa (McClung) Postlethwaite.2,3 William Charles Postlethwaite married Gertrude Dix Postlethwaite in 1899; In the 1900 census, Gertrude and William are in Kansas living as a couple with no children. In 1930 Gertrude declares that she was 24 at her first marriage. We therefore conclude that they were married in 1899, probably in Kansas but possibly in Ohio since William's mother was from Ohio. William Charles Postlethwaite died on 26 December 1924 at Caldwell, Canyon Co., Idaho, at age 49.1
     He was Bookkeeper, Idaho Implement Company at Caldwell, Canyon Co., Idaho.4 He and Gertrude Dix Postlethwaite appeared on the census of 11 June 1900 at Grant Township, Jewell Co., Kansas.      Robert R. McClung married Louisa Leffingwell.1 Robert R. McClung was born on 6 June 1805 at Butler Co., Pennsylvania.1 He died on 21 June 1888 at Jewell City, Jewell Co., Kansas, at age 83.1
