Further work needed for clarification.2 She was buried in 1856 at Polk Twp, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.4

    --Adam was the tenth child of Frederick Hetrick and Elizabeth Doverspike. He married his first cousin, Maria J. Hetrick, about 1849. They had eight children: Mary "Matilda" (married Samuel Duggan, then Abraham Miller); Philip Martin (married Eva Anna Mork); Esther A.;
    George R.; Eliza Q. (married Charles C. Conger); Perry Harrison; Jessie (died at 14 months); and Amos Walter.
    -- The Hetrick family moved from Pennsylvania to Dodge county, Nebraska, during the Civil War. Children Esther, George, and Perry all died on 9 and 10 June 1882 of measles. Maria died 7 May 1886 of the same disease. Adam's second wife was Mrs. Nancy Jane (Robinson) Wood, who survived him and is also buried in Kalispell. They were married 14 November 1887 in Logan, Harrison, Iowa. They had no children. After their marriage, Adam and Nancy moved to Kalispell, where Adam owned a 320-acre fruit farm.      Erma Lou (Beavers) Holcomb was born on 17 July 1933 at Crescent, Oklahoma.1 She was the daughter of John Willard Beavers and Mabel Louise Stringer. Erma Lou (Beavers) Holcomb died on 26 January 2014 at Modesto, Stanislaus County, California, at age 80.2
     Erma Lou (Beavers) Holcomb was also known as Erma Lou Beavers.2 She appeared on the census of 23 April 1940 in the household of John Willard Beavers at Ceres, Stanislaus County, California.3 Erma Lou (Beavers) Holcomb lived in 1993 at 46823 Fernald Street, Fremont, Alameda County, California.4 She lived in 1994 at 20422 Pine Mountain Drive, Groveland, Tuolumne County, California.4,1

    Groveland resident Erma Lou (Beavers) Holcomb died Jan. 26 at a Modesto hospital. She was 81.
    Mrs. Holcomb was born in Crescent, Okla., to Willard and Mabel Beavers. Her family moved to Southern California when she was 2. She grew up in Hemet with her two brothers.
    She attended Westmont Bible College in Santa Barbara, where she met and married David Holcomb in 1953. He was stationed by the U.S. Air Force in England, where she joined him for three years.
    They later lived in Santa Barbara for seven years. She worked as a bank teller while raising three daughters.
    In 1963, the family moved to the East Bay where they stayed for the next 30 years. She worked in the accounting department at the Clorox company for more than 20 years.
    Mrs. Holcomb retired to Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland in 1994. She was a member of the Groveland Evangelical Free Church and the Groveland Kiwanis Club.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mabel Beavers; and by her brothers, Dwight Beavers and Eugene Beavers.
    She is survived by her husband of 60 years, David L. Holcomb, of Groveland; daughters and sons-in-law Carol and Don Lindsay, of Lodi, Sharon and David Volponi, of Groveland; Pamela and Ronnie Fowler, of Brooksville, Fla.; grandchildren Robin Nelson, of Joplin, Mo.; Jennifer Martin, of Conroe, Texas; Amanda Joy Rosenberger, of Charleston, S.C.; Rachel Bradshaw, of Brooksville, Fla., Jordan Strong, of Brooksville, Faith Rosenberger, of Lake City, Mo., and Spencer Strong, of Brooksville; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Donations may be made in her memory to Joni and Friends, an international disability center, at P.O. Box 3333, Agoura Hills, CA 91376.
    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Groveland Evangelical Free Church at 19172 Ferretti Road.
