    Former Tuolumne County resident Robert "Bob" Lee Mason died Dec 21 at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. He was 73.
    Mr. Mason was born in San Antonio, Texas to Robert Lee Mason and Della (Chapman) Mason and joined the US Air Force ast 18.
    After finishing four years of duty, he held various sales jobs before opening Mason's autoville in Hanford, Kings Co., around 1963. In the late 1960's he started a career in real estate and was employed by numerous firms, including Avco Community Development, Boise Cascade and US Land Management. He managed the original lot sales of Pine MOuntain Lake and Lake Don Pedro, as well as Heritage Lakes in Illinois.
    Mr. Mason owned and operated Mason Realty in Groveland from 1974 to 1982. He continued working in real estate in Tuolumne Co. and the EastBay areas, most recently at Prudential California Realty in Livermore.
    He was a member of the former Hetch Hetchy Association of Realtors Bay East Association of Realtors, and a former officer of the Tuolumne County Association of Realtors.
    Mr. Mason was a private pilot for years at Pine Mountain Lake Airport and enjoyed aviation, He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing at local events,, and at one point had his own band.
    Mr. Mason was preceded in death by his father in 1942; his mother in 1988; and his stepfather, Thomas Davis, in 1977.
    He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathryn Mason, of Livermore, child and children-in-law Barbara and Dan Barendregt of Sonora; Kelli Mason of Richmond VA; Steve and Lisa Robillard of Gaithersburg, Maryland; step-children and children-in-law Debra and Paul Silvas; Cindy andRyan Orluck and Robert Woods, all of Livermore; grandhildren Trevor Barendregt of Stockton, Matthew Barendregt of Sonora, James Robillard of Suring, Wisconsin, Matthew, Kevin and Ryan Silvas, Bobby Woods and Joes Jrluck, all of Livermore, Paxton O'Bryed of Richmond, and Kayli Woods of Livermore.
    A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Pine Mountain Lake Country Club grill, 12765 Mueller Drive, Groveland. Acacia Cremation and Burial Society in Antioch is handling arrangements.

     Wathagene Bailey was buried; 2013 Find A Grave memorial 104234343 by Peggy Frost shows full obituary but lists Burial as UNKNOWN. She was born on 8 August 1925 at Galena, Cherokee Co., Kansas.1 She was the daughter of Henry Upton and Dorothy (Morgan) Upton.1 Wathagene Bailey married Elmer Bailey on 25 November 1963 at Santa Clara Co., California.1,2 Wathagene Bailey died on 27 January 2013 at Bellingham, Washington, at age 87.1
     She was a member of the leadership of the Republican Women organizations in both California and Washington. She is also past president of her sorority, Beta Sigma Phi.3 She worked for Pacific Bell as a supervisor, and later as an account supervisor in a Los Gatos, CA hospital. at California.4 She and Elmer Bailey were founding members of Mountain Lutheran Church at Groveland, Tuolumne Co., California. Wathagene Bailey was educated in 1942 at Fullerton, Orange Co., California; In 1942 Wathagene was attending Fullerton Union High Shool in Fullerton, California, per posting at Ancestry.com as part of their US School Yearbooks 1880-2012 online database.
