     He appeared on the census of 1910; BLS Jul 2009 - I belreive he is the child enumerated as Myrtle, living with mother and sisters in Minnesota while father and older brothers are all in Cheyenne Co., Colorado. He appeared on the census of 1920 at Wild Horse, Cheyenne Co., Colorado; living at home with parents. He and Bergita (Stensrud) Aaby appeared on the census of 1930; she may be the person in Denver enumerated as Berfit Aaby, with son Marvin in the 1930 census. She is head of household; Marvin is 26 and a Bonds salesman. Murvin Aaby lived in November 1938 at Utah.³

     Myrtle Aaby was born circa 1904 at Minnesota.¹ She was the daughter of John O Aaby and Bergita (Stensrud) Aaby.¹ Myrtle Aaby died after 1910; Guesstimate.
     She appeared on the census of 1910 in the household of Bergita (Stensrud) Aaby at Hayfield, Dodge Co., Minnesota; I believe this census entry is in error, and refers instead to 6-year-old Murvin, a son who would have been too young to go off with his father and brothers to a frontier community. Murvin does not appear in any other 1910 census; Myrtle does not appear in any later census. Further, John's obituary reports only 11 children in the family. Including both Murvin and Myrtle leaves the family with too many children.²

     Alice M (Miles) Mecartea was born on 25 February 1872 at Missouri.^2,3 She was the daughter of Mrs. Cordelia Mills.¹ Alice M (Miles) Mecartea married Marion F. Although Francis is enumerated in Big Oak Flat as a single man, while Martha says she is married.⁹ She appeared on the census of 1930 at San Juan, San Benito Co., California.¹⁰

He was 21 years old, born in Meath, Ireland, and described as standing 5'5" tall with blue eyes, dark hair and a fair complexion. Patrick Coyle was a farrier by trade, and assigned to the 5th Cavalry, Company M. He was discharged at Nashville TN 11 Nov 1865 by expiration of service. His asignment in the Army was as a farrier.⁴ He was naturalized between 1865 and 1870; If he is indeed the Patrick Coyle who served in the US Army during the Civil War, then Patrick could have received his citizenship based on his military service. Note that the Patrick Coyle of the 1870 Census, presumed son of Charles and Ann on Staten Island, became a US citizen between the 1860 and 1870 census'. He ended military service on 11 November 1865 at Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee.⁴ He appeared on the census of 1870 in the household of Charles Coyle at New Dorp, Middleton, Richmond Co., New York.¹
