     She joined the North San Diego County Special Olympics Team at age 8. She traveled throughout California competing in gymnastics, snow skiing, soccer, basketball and track and field. She lived by the motto “Let me win, but if I cannot let me be brave in the attempt.”
At age 5 she learned to swim through the Easter Seals program, where she also took classes in jogging and karate.
She enjoyed visiting Disneyland, dancing, boating, cooking, bowling, music and traveling.² She was graduated circa 1992 at Poway, San Diego Co., California, where she received the President's Award for Academic Achievement; Poway High School.³ She moved about in 1993 with her parents and lived at Groveland, Tuolumne Co., California.⁴ She was She volunteered at the food bank, Sierra Repertory Theatre and Book Nook and was a member of a garden club. She worked through the WATCH program for more than 12 years. between 1995 and 2012 at Tuolumne Co., California.²
