Nancy may well be buried in Stockton for in 1900 she was a patient at the Stockton State Hospital. In 1860 her census name was given as N Redmond, but she had the two youngest Blagg boys living with her. In 1870 she was back to using Nancy Blagg. [BStevens, 13 Apr 2009] She appeared on the census of 1860 as N Redmond at Tuolumne Co., California. The two youngest Blagg sons are living in her home, although this census does not show relationships of members of the household. Living alone in Sonora is James Redmond, a 44 year old Irish-born carpenter whom Nancy may have once married. He is the only other Redmond in Tuolumne County.³ She appeared on the census of 1870.
