Baby James O'Neill was the son of James Edward O'Neill and Nellie (Ray) O'Neill.1 Baby James O'Neill was buried at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Big Oak Flat, Tuolumne Co., California; Either Ellen was naming only her living children when the census was enumerated in 1900, or this child called "Baby James" does not belong to Ellen. In 1900, her son James was 8 years old. Even if he died a week after the census, it is unlikely he would be described as "Baby James" on his tombstone.1
